Today, while you were sick and couldn’t go to school, Mama stayed with you to snuggle and get you all better. Daddy called from work in Cordele and said to go look for the circus train that would be coming through town. This was a first for even Mama so it was a big deal. The Ringling Brothers Barnum and Baily circus train came through on its way down to Florida. Pop came out to meet us and see it through. Mama and Daddy have big plans to take you to see the circus after the first of the year.

  

You also got to play in the leaves for a little while.

Today you tried green beans for the first time and contrary to that first picture, you actually liked them. Daddy also gave you a sippy cup for the first time with a small swallow of sweet tea and you did a great job. Mama ended up emptying out the tea because you were more interested in slinging it around and we didn’t’ want tea all over the carpet.

Today was a fun lazy Sunday. You were getting a little cold so we took it easy and didn’t do too much except go shopping with Mimi and Aunt Suzi.

Another fun day at the Georgia Museum of Agriculture. Today they were grinding cane and making syrup.

Your first boo boo. You fell over from sitting up and caught the corner of your eye but it didn’t look this bad for too long.

Sitting up like a big boy. You can’t get up from a laying down position, but you do pretty well holding yourself there when someone props you up.

11/4/11: Six Months Old!

Happy 1/2 birthday to you! You are six months old now.

 

We loaded up and went down to Calvary, Georgia for the Mule Day Festival with Grandma, Pa, Aunt Amanda, Jake, Ben, and Rivers. This was your first camping trip.
