Mama and Daddy took you out to the front yard tonight to watch all the black birds flying in and you were amazed—until you found your foot and then you were otherwise occupied!

You hung out with Daddy while Mama got her nails done. You seem to be perfecting the art of pushing up on your front arms now.

I think we can say you have just about made a full recovery. Here you are all dressed up for church.

On the mend, not yet full force. At least Mama was able to stay at home with you and love on you a lot more than usual!

Sick Day: After you had a much better night last night, we thought you were okay to go to daycare, but we got called at 10:00 this morning saying they thought you were sick and to come get you. Aunt Amanda brought you to Tifton to meet Mama and go to the doctor. After she checked you out, Dr. Lynn said you had the beginning of a double ear infection and we left with prescriptions for all kinds of things to make you feel better. After I got home, I had to run out to get you some medicine and other stuff and Daddy sat with you on the front porch for a bit. I think the weather (it had been drizzling a little) matched all of our moods. After we got your medicine, Mama snuggled up with you on the couch and took a good long nap.

You weren’t feeling well today and this is probably the only time I have seen you smile all day. The rest of the day looked much more like this:
Mama and Daddy were both home with you today.

Wyatt went to the pediatrician for his four month checkup today. He weighs 13 pounds, 10 ounces. He is only in the 19th percentile for his weight which is okay because the nurse said that childhood obesity is a growing epidemic. He is in the 67th percentile for height, which may also account for he weight-to-height ratio being a little different. He got two big vaccinations, but didn’t cry too much!
We visited Mama’s boss Mr. Donnie after the doctor visit and you worked on your office skills a bit.
After all that fun, we visited Grandma and Pa. Pa rocked you to sleep in his recliner for the very first time. I’m sure it won’t be the last. There have been too many times to count that he’s been loaded up with your three cousins on a Sunday afternoon with all four of them napping!
Cousins: Wyatt {4 months}, Jake {9}, Ben {7}, and Rivers {5}
Grandma bought you a froggy bath mitt but you like chewing and snuggling on it more than anything!

All dressed up for church in your adorable alligator seersucker! At Mimi and Pop’s this afternoon, you were working on your touchscreen dexterity. You are going to be a geeky technology-loving kid just like your mama!
